Joleen Hagan, Emma Jean Edmondson, Dana Lane, Donna Holland.
What did you dream of doing when you grew-up?
I wanted to be a writer. I also thought of joining the peace corps as a missionary.
Spouse or Partner Name: (Did they attend McArthur and what class year?)
I have two children, a son, Nick who works for Bell SO. and still lives in So. Fl. and I have a married daughter, Jennie completing a degree in music at Univ. N.C. She is married with a 6 yr. old son, Elijah. I am now residing in Ft. Mill, S.C. since the beginning of this year/07.
I worked as a radiologic technologist and specialized in mammography. I was invited to help write the national registry for mammographers and also performed in breast ultrasound, and quality control. I stopped working in the field in 2003 when I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Currently I am now in remission for 6 mo. Since I stopped working, I was able to visit Israel with a mission group I am involved with. We look forward to returning for a visit and I have entertained the thought of perhaps moving there in the far future. Another group of friends and myself also participated in another mission trip in Appalacia. I am attempting to write and may include some of these feats.
Presently, I spend time with my grandson, Elijah, and my two dogs, both flat hair retrievers. Since I enjoy cooking, I hope to be able to start a garden. I am really into Organic Foods these days so this is the perfect excuse to put out the strawberries, pole beans, tomatoes, etc. My favorite foods to cook include pastas, deserts and anything southern. Before moving to Fl. I lived in W.Va. so I have always been somewhat downhome. I enjoy reading, singing and dancing.
