Name: Crook, George
When looking back at my time in high school, I remember more the good than the bad. I was in band and enjoyed our trips to different places and concerts at the Hollywood Bowl. Football games were a great joy as we would march at half time and then got roddy in the stands. Chourus was fun too. But I really enjoyed the two plays Arsenic and Old Lace - which I played crazy Teddy who charged up San Juan hill. Also South Pacific - as Luther Billis who at one point wearing a grass skirt and coconut bra. We rehearsed for almost two months on the South Pacific play, doing homework backstage while waiting for our parts to come up. Note - I was having trouble with the grass skirt dance till one night we found a chiffon style dress in one of the dressing rooms, I put it on and hid till my part came up, then I moved out on the stage and put all the players on the floor from laughter. That night I got how to shake the skirt.
Math was not my strong point. P.E. was just fine except that after playing and taking a shower I continued to sweat. Many a day at school I would look at the girls and find my self in that condition in which I had to put my books in front of me. All you girls were beautiful to me and my hormones were raging. So if anyone wants more info contact me and we will see what I tell you.
